Sirius Films Manual is a newly created production edition that aims to produce first or second films of young film makers with an idiosyncratic, distinctive style and unique approach to film language. This edition was created by expanding Václav Kadrnka's production company SiriusFilms, which focuses on his own projects. The initiation of the SFM project was the desire to break the habits of cooperation between producers and directors and set up a more creative dialogue and to lookfor new and lighter ways to makefilms. Thegoalis to disrupt the stereotypes in thinking about cinema and to create new conditions in which auteur films can be produced in Europe.
SFM wants to connect starting auteurs - directors, screenwriters, and producers with more experienced colleagues and initiate a new creative platform.
